Minor League

This semi-competitive program is for players who are developing their skills and learning the game of baseball in the context of gameplay. Players are evaluated by Coaches and drafted onto teams as they enter the Minor League and stay with that team throughout their time in the Minors.

Who this program is for:

-Players Ages 7-11
-Players who have some experience with baseball skills

Regular Season Schedule (April - end of June):

-Combined-team practices on Saturdays 10:30am & 4pm, and Sundays 2pm.
-Two games per week per team, played at 5:30pm, Mondays through Thursday, rainouts on Saturdays.
- Playoff series after Regular Season ends

Optional FREE Off-Season Programming:

-Summer Sandlot game series (July-August)
-Fall Ball Skills and Drills (September-October)
-Winter Indoor Clinics (February-March)

Players will:

-Pitch during games
-Be part of a team
-Practice in combined-team groups, to foster sportsmanship and expose players to different coaching
-Improve their skills and understanding of rules in the context of gameplay
-Coach-Pitch may be introduced in some game situations
-Champs go on to play in the Cambridge Mayor’s Cup Championships (June)
-All-Stars selected to represent NCLBL in the All-Star Tournament (September)
