Babe Ruth Red Sox--half North alumni--take Playoff Championship
On Saturday June 28th the Babe Ruth Red Sox defeated the top-seeded Yankees 6-1 to capture the Cambridge Babe Ruth playoff championship. Half of the Red Sox team are former North players--Bobby Crane, Joey Kervick, Tommy Lenane, Kevin Melin, Raheem Nelson, Patrick Sweeney, and Gumpo Tenzin. Also of note, Dylan Casassa of the Major Braves is the "game schedule-permitting" bat-boy for this team that his father Grant manages and his Uncle Brad coaches. Grant will be coaching the C1 team this summer.
