Can Day Appeal
Dear Families and Friends,
Now in our 65th year, the North Cambridge Little Baseball League (NLCBL) has provided many generations of local youth with solid baseball skills, treasured memories, lifelong friends, and a strong sense of community. Sustained by nearly 40 volunteers, the NCLBL depends on complementary monetary donations to fulfill our mission to teach children important life skills through recreational sports…and continue the love of baseball.
Here's what your donation can support - Donate any amount
* $25 buys an extra glove for a team
* $50 buys 2 bats for a team
* $75 covers a child’s registration
* $150 helps a family with more than one player
Traditionally, after team pictures were taken, players took part in Can Day standing in front of local shops with cans to collect cash for the NCLBL. In its heyday, Can Day raised more than $1,000.
Today however, fewer business are able to accommodate kids collecting money near their front doors and given busy schedules we have stopped Can Day
But we still need your support to keep providing our NCLBL youth with all they need to play baseball.
Please make your donation above.
Sincerely,
Peter McCann, President
